The staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for where to eat and what to see along with a map of the town. Our room was comfortable and I love the decor. It didn't feel like a generic hotel, but a fun guest room. The bathroom was spacious and the water got nice and hot for my evening showers. The location was excellent. I was worried that we'd hear noise from the busy street below, but it was quiet and comfortable. The blackout curtains kept the light out really well and noise was no issue at all. It's right next to the tram stop so you can get to and from the airport easily. The train station is right out front also. Very convenient!

Talk about ideal location! Perfectly placed in the middle of all this beauty. Hotel staff were attentive and nothing is too much trouble! Honestly feels like home away from home. Gorgeous room, comfy bed. Perfectly evident that they have alot of pride in the work they do! Clean environment and looks and feels luxurious. Massive thank you for the warm welcome and attraction suggestions. Fantastic staff in the restaurant, breakfast was to die for and the smiles and warm welcome at breakfast just set us up for our adventures around Edinburgh. View from our room was incredible!! Thank you so much for making our anniversary even more special.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff from the moment of arrival right through to our departure. We arrived hours early and there was no trouble in taking our luggage. Got a phone call to say room was ready ahead of our check-in time. Room was quirky, comfortable and clean! Staff in restaurant for breakfast and dinner were friendly and helpful.... certainly won't go hungry at breakfast, plenty of options for everyone! Location wise you couldn't get better.... opposite Waverley Station and just around the corner from St Andrew Square. Can't wait to visit Edinburgh again and will certainly be hoping to stay here again!

Beautifully decorated and furnished old building on Princes Street. Location was perfect as the historic part of the city and most attractions were within easy walking distance. There was an excellent hop on/hop off open topped tour bus service available almost outside the door. The hotel is conveniently opposite the railway station entrance. Our king room was not large but was very comfortable, had a huge shower and was well soundproofed and quiet despite overlooking Princes Street and late night revelries. Excellent restaurant and breakfast with gluten free options.

Great location opposite the train station and close to restaurants and retail shops. Comfortable and spacious room with a lovely big rainfall shower. The rooms were very clean and also included shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. A selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate was also available in the room and a large bottle of water which was replenished accordingly. The breakfast selection includes a continental breakfast with a choice of a variety of delicious cooked breakfast. The breakfast catering staff were efficient, polite and provided an excellent service.
